Real cat-raising experience – Tata A master of deception and Lifelong Friend

Tata is my cat, my roommate, and my partner in crime throughout my college years. We share a bond so close that I sometimes feel he understands me better than most people. He's the smartest cat I've ever met—and the cheekiest.

Every day, Tata takes himself for a stroll around the block. Afterward, he comes home for dinner and a nap. The funny thing is, he knows I don't like him going straight to bed, so he pretends he doesn't want to. The moment I leave the room, he sneaks in for a nap anyway. When he hears me coming back, he'll leap out of bed, stretch like nothing happened, and act completely innocent.

When he was two, he had to take medication for urinary problems. At first, I thought he was being very cooperative—until one day, while cleaning my bedroom, I found a stash of untouched pills hidden under my bed. That's when I realized my sweet boy was also a master of deception. From then on, I had to double-check every dose.

He loves roaming outside but absolutely hates baths. I deworm him every month and give him a bath every three months. Taking him to the groomer was always a stressful ordeal, so last year I started bathing him at home. I even bought a dryer Box DL62 from Petsgofun to avoid me being covered in scratches. At first, he'd bang on the dryer door in protest. But eventually, he learned to enjoy the warm air—and, of course, demand treats afterward.

To me, Tata is more than a pet. He's family. He comforts me when I'm down, acts spoiled when he wants attention, and never fails to make me laugh. He reads with me, listens to my stories, eats by my side, and hides in the laundry basket just to surprise me. He has this magical ability to turn an ordinary day into a great one.

Every moment with him flies by. Now that he's five years old, I'm more grateful than ever for every moment we share. Tata, I'll love you and take care of you forever.
